The Yuut Adult Education Program offers GED® preparation and instruction in reading, writing and math. The Yuut Adult Education Center operates as a partnership between Yuut Elitnaurviat, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation and AVCP. The Yuut Adult Education Center is open all year, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Students may enroll at any time during the year, but the earlier in the year, the better. 1. GED® Program: The Yuut Adult Education Center is an Official Pearson Vue GED® Testing Center. The GED® program offers an accredited high school diploma. An individualized study plan is developed for each student to prepare for GED® testing.
2. Adult Education: The Yuut Adult Education Center offers basic academic skill building in math, reading, and writing for the purpose of earning a GED®, getting or keeping a job, or entering college or training.
3. Assessments: The Yuut Adult Education Center offers the Test of Adult Basic Education, C-Best, and GED Exams. Please call to schedule an appointment.
